I’m a Seattle-area portrait and brand photographer with over 12 years of brand and marketing strategy experience at large corporations.
As a former corporate professional turn entrepreneur, I understand the importance of creating a visual brand and marketing strategy and just how overwhelming and stressful it can be when it doesn’t fall within your wheelhouse. That’s why I’m passionate about putting my marketing and branding expertise, along with my 18+ years of photography experience to good use by helping other brands and businesses grow through their own consistent, custom stock imagery to populate on your website, social channels, and everything in between.
When I’m not photographing for brands, business, or families, you can find me with my family, taking on the chaos, er, I mean pleasures, of being a mom to a busy toddler boy that I adore.

So, what is brand photography?
It’s a collection of professional images that represent your business brand or personal brand visually, and fit with your visual identity through their use of colors, tone, props, sets and more. These can include photos of you, your team, your products, your process, your space and other things that make your business or brand unique.
It allows you to create your own authentic stock image library for everything from Instagram to print projects. I have found that brand recognition is very valuable as it builds trust and credibility with potential customers. In analyzing successful content on social media, especially on Instagram business accounts, I find that the most popular posts include a picture of the person associated with that business or brand.
High quality and cohesive imagery used across all marketing platforms also
communicates professionalism and a well-established brand. By using authentic and recognizable photography on your website, social media, ads, press kits, print materials and any other marketing you do, you will communicate a professional, uniform and consistent message.
Another benefit of brand photography is the ability to inspire your audience. The photography you use in your marketing is authentic to your brand, easily recognizable and professional, but it also should present an image for your ideal customer to aspire to.

I start out with a 30-minute client phone consultation. I create a custom shoot “brief” by discussing the person’s business goals, visual storytelling needs, colors and tones that represent their brand, and what type of work space they have. After learning more about them, I create a vision board with my concepts. I serve as art director and curator, even suggesting locations if the client doesn’t have a dedicated work space.

Over the years I’ve found myself having a hard time choosing a specific number of images to give clients, so I can only imagine how overwhelming the selection process can be when I've asked my clients to pick out only a few images to keep. You see, my favorite part about my job as a family photographer is capturing those in between moments that help narrate the unique story of your family at that second in time. Why should I force you to pick out a certain number of them?
What’s included in your session?
To make it easier on you, your session includes a 45-min to 60-min photo session experience, along with all the fully edited high-resolution digital files from your gallery in color and black and white. You get to keep these photos for life and print for your personal use as much as you want, from any printer you want to use.
And to make it even easier on you and ensure your family’s story is ready to share, you will also receive a beautiful complimentary custom album from your session personally designed by me. I want all my families to be able to hold and look at their one-of-a-kind story through their own luxury heirloom keepsake that they can pass down for generations to come.
